Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of UnLaughable, including the website, live game rooms, camera and microphone features, leaderboards, shop, memberships, gems, cosmetics, reports, moderation tools, and related services.

By creating an account, entering a room, buying a product, submitting a report, or otherwise using UnLaughable, you agree to these terms and to the policies linked from the Legal page. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We may update these terms as the product, laws, safety needs, or payment systems change. When changes are material, we may provide notice through the site, account notices, email, or another reasonable method. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

UnLaughable is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. You may not use the service if you are under 18, if you are legally barred from using it, or if your account has been suspended or banned.

You must provide truthful age and account information. If we believe you are under 18, cannot lawfully use the service, or provided false information, we may block access, suspend the account, delete content or data where appropriate, and preserve information needed for legal, security, or safety purposes.

The service is not directed to children. Do not invite minors into rooms, share an account with a minor, stream a minor on camera, or use UnLaughable in a way that exposes minors to live chat, voice, video, or adult community spaces.

You are responsible for your account, email access, profile information, display name, lobby selection, purchases, and activity that occurs through your account. Keep your email account secure and notify us if you believe your UnLaughable account was accessed without permission.

Display names, profile pictures, badges, and other profile elements must follow the Community and Safety Rules. We may reject, remove, rename, hide, or restrict profile elements that are offensive, misleading, infringing, unsafe, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate for the service.

Registered users may have ranked ELO, gems, cosmetics, badges, memberships, match history, reports, and moderation history. Guests may play limited casual sessions but do not receive the same account features and may be required to create an account after the guest limit is reached.

UnLaughable is a competitive try-not-to-laugh platform. Camera and microphone access are required for playable rooms. If your camera or microphone is blocked, muted, hidden, covered, or manipulated, you may be unable to play or may lose the round.

Casual matches do not affect ranked ELO. Ranked matches require an account and may affect ELO, wins, losses, leaderboard placement, rank tier, and related profile stats. ELO must be skill-based only and cannot be purchased, boosted, transferred, spent, gambled, or traded.

Detection and match systems are part of the game. You may not tamper with camera input, spoof streams, hide your face, use prerecorded footage, use another person on camera, use automation, exploit bugs, disrupt signaling, interfere with another user's connection, or attempt to bypass safety or moderation systems.

Live rooms may include camera, microphone, WebRTC signaling, opponent video, opponent audio, clip embeds, reports, safety checks, and match metadata. You are responsible for your conduct in these rooms.

You may not use the service for nudity, exposure, sexual conduct, harassment, bullying, threats, racism, slurs, hateful conduct, underage content, impersonation, stalking, doxxing, cheating, spam, scams, malware, illegal activity, or any conduct that creates safety, legal, reputational, or operational risk for UnLaughable or its users.

We may disconnect rooms, hide views, flag matches, restrict matchmaking, apply cooldowns, suspend accounts, ban accounts, remove entitlements where permitted, preserve evidence metadata, and cooperate with lawful requests or safety investigations when necessary.

The shop may sell memberships, gems, care packages with disclosed contents, cosmetics, profile frames, badges, themes, entrance effects, victory effects, laugh meter skins, XP boosts, gem reward boosts, and cosmetic progress boosts.

The shop may not sell ELO, ranked wins, ranked placement, randomized paid rewards, loot boxes, cash-prize wagering, or gambling products. Digital items may be changed, balanced, renamed, removed, or replaced if needed for security, compliance, platform changes, or product operation.

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider. Do not submit payment card details through reports, support messages, chat, or profile fields. Memberships may renew until canceled according to the checkout and billing terms shown at purchase.

UnLaughable may use manually curated third-party TikTok clip embeds. TikTok controls its own embed player and may have its own terms, privacy practices, content rules, tracking, availability limits, and playback behavior.

We do not grant you rights to copy, download, scrape, rehost, remove attribution from, or misuse third-party clip content. You must respect the rights and rules of the third-party platforms and creators.

If a clip becomes unavailable, inappropriate, legally risky, non-embeddable, unsafe, or unsuitable for the game, we may remove or deactivate it without notice.

UnLaughable is provided on an evolving basis. Features may be experimental, interrupted, delayed, unavailable, inaccurate, or changed. Matchmaking, detection, leaderboards, shop inventory, subscriptions, gems, reports, moderation tools, and live rooms may change over time.

We may suspend, rate limit, restrict, or discontinue any part of the service for maintenance, legal compliance, safety, abuse prevention, security, vendor outages, payment issues, or product reasons.

We are not responsible for losses caused by internet outages, browser limitations, device issues, blocked permissions, third-party embeds, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare, payment networks, app store rules, or other third-party systems outside our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UnLaughable is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UnLaughable and its owners, operators, affiliates, contractors, vendors, and personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, service interruption, or unauthorized access.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

You may stop using UnLaughable at any time. You may request account help or deletion through support, subject to legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, chargeback, tax, safety, moderation, and backup retention needs.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk, misuse the service, harm other users, interfere with operations, create legal exposure, fail payment obligations, or behave in a way we reasonably consider unsafe or abusive.

After termination, sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, payment obligations, moderation records, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute terms, and policy provisions needed for enforcement or compliance.
